Coffee, one of the beverages that some people cannot do without after waking up, causes an unconscious harm to nature, environment and ourselves due to the damage it gives to consumers and the environment. Melitto factory is trying to contribute to the environment by utilizing energy from renewable energy sources to the fullest extent possible and being sensitive to politics. Kimbo, which won the UNI EN ISO 1400:2004 certificate in 2007, has determined all its production processes with the UNI EN ISO 900:2008 certificate with quality control. Sustainable production is contributing to the environment as a part of the production process where each individual employee’s contribution is taken one by one and is being developed.
It is not just about the regulation of production processes that Kimbo gives importance to environmental and sustainability development. Kimbo Espresso Integrity It creates a responsible view of this product: it comes from Rainforest Alliance certified plantations, creating a harmonious blend of every coffee bean it contains only. This is how Kimbo supports sustainable agriculture and works to protect the ecosystem as part of the efforts made.
Another product Kimbo has developed for home consumption is Kimbo Bio Organic. Kimbo Bio Organic consists of a new and improved blend, made from semi-washed Arabica beans (from Nicaragua and Peru) and natural Robusta beans (from India and Tanzania). Both coffee bean types used in the blend also have FairTrade and Organic certificates. This blend has an intense aroma with pronounced floral and fruity notes, and a medium body. A sweet and balanced coffee experience is offered for those who prefer Kimbo Bio Organic.
